I'm selling one because I bought a new one for Adam and don't have the time for two with my business. I wish things were different and I could hop in it. :

Marc,
this is a VERY good poll.. my vote goes to the FAVORITISM
but there is ALOT of things on here that i would vote for.
From a new York racers opinion, i have to say the racing at these tracks are getting ALOT better with LOTS of better racing than last year. but there are still a few things these tracks can improve on. i thought of selling out but with Tobias doing a better job, and mike being a good tour event promoter, you will be seeing me racing a Pennsylvania tracks ALOT next year

I also have a lot of things I would vote for but I will go with favoritism at the top level.

I'm saling because I have too many toys in the garage. I just sent the 18 car to Alabama, still have 2 left. 1 more to go. The price of gas had a big impact on my season. I'm going to give it one more shot next year here in South East Va and North East NC. Hope to get it going, and you'll still see me up in Pa and at a few TOUR races as long as the price of gas keeps dropping. The sale of cars is a good thing as long as we're not bad mouthing in our sale's add.

Favoritism, what does that mean,we are singling out people we want to win or oversee some things when they do win???It is the tracks responsibilty to be fair,in their teching, officiating and handicapping, not ours,if you have a problem with the track bring it to their attention. We like to hear what's happening and I try to make as many regular events as I can.Don't come crying that we are showing favorites.I have made a point of thanking everyone at a tour race, trying to make things easier for everyone, tried to check tire pressures,be at the scales as much as I can to make sure everyone is legal.I have tried to improve the purse structure.I even became the most hated person in racing at Kutztown because I made a decision that didn't go against everyone and stood at the scales to make sure that who was scaled was as legal as the next person.I'm trying to retool the tour for next year.I even have made the website as visibly positive for everyone whether you race at Starlite,Borger's,Caroga Creek,Kutztown,Snydersville,Hamlin or Paradise. If there is any favoritism on my end,I would surely like to know where. We even added teams to the Reading race because we thought we had made officiationg errors and made sure some drivers had a ride because of a mech. failure in their tour heats(Thanks Randy for the use of the 555).We could run the most perfect form of racing in the country and someone would find something to pregnant dog about.Look in the mirror, ask yourself what was done to me at a tour race or any race that Mike was at that could honestly result in favoritism. It is a post like this that makes me want to go back to Big Diamond and listen to the modified fans complain because their car was scored 5th and they were running 4th.I am trying my best to make sure your sponsors get some recognition,I try to give a full field rundown for the tour races because I feel everyone deserves the press for even just showing up.I really am at a loss for words.I'm glad some of you are picking to replace equipment, because after seeing this it just made me realize that all the effort I put into making the tour, the purse even some of the track procedures have been wasted.

I'm not selling, I'm having too much fun. As far as making the sport better, I'd suggest that you all stop waiting for Mike or Rich to do it, and do it yourself. Thats not to say they aren't doing a great job, that just means you should help out also. One way to help out is to STOP bad mouthing the slingshot division. Every bad comment is another racer turned away. We started with just a hand full of cars up here at Caroga Creek, and now we put ten cars on the track and we are still growing. And to Mike, you are doing one hell of a good job. don't let some jerk off comments ruin your outlook. Just my two cents....Jim Pollard 99j

we're not selling either because we are having too much fun ! ;D if i understand this correctly - the vote on favoritism is not against speedway entertainment or you mike, it's all about how certain tracks are being run and how favoritism is being shown to certain drivers. just my thoughts!

I agree with you Shannon. I also think if someone is selling out because of favoritism they need to get a life. There is favoritism on all levels of all sports. There are more important things in our division that should be addressed. How about the availability of parts? (not always Speedway Entertainments fault). I would also like to see another regular Saturday night track in PA.

I know we dont plan on selling unless I move up. Its a great division gives us an opportunity to race at various race tracks. There are a few minor issues but Speedway entertainment is handling them in my opinion! Bad mouthing is not going to help the matter. Just my opinion -Billy V jr

I do think the favortism votes ARE for certain tracks!! We all know there is NO favoritisms from Speedway Entertainment or one of us would be always winning. I think you read into this the wrong way MIKEY - sorry eat a TOPOROL and join me in bringing my high blood pressure down (smile) This wasnt meant to dig you guys as people it was meant to help fix the problems teams think need to be addressed but as usual most of what is written in replies is never FULLY explained therefore takin out of context.

Where are all these slingshots that are for sale. I think there are only about 8 in the classified section and about half are sold and there was only one in aarn. From what I can see good cars sell fast or is that fast cars sell good. There is always going to be some turnover and the fact that the people want the used cars means there is a healthy interest in slingshot racing.
