Runner up for the 2014 Slingshot point championship Ryan Lacoe was also on the move. Raisner trying his best to hold off a pack of six cars battling for third . Lap eleven Eccles took the lead with Bettler grabbing fourth followed by Kyle Herve. Lap seventeen Johnny Bush took over fifth as Bettler made the move for third on lap twenty two. In the closing laps Lacoe made his way to fourth as Raisner dropped back to fifth. Kurtz kept the pressure on Eccles but did not have enough to catch the high flying Eccles. It was Eccles, Kurtz, Bettler, Lacoe, and Raisner.
