im new to slingshots. im having a problem where you start the car and let it run then.. you hit the kill switches and engine still runs. then it keeps running until you shut off the fuel valve. then there is times where the car wont start until you run it with the valve off and when you do this fuel comes pouring out of the exhaust pipe.. could the fuel put be pumpimg fuel with the car shut down?? or is there something else or did this ever happen to someone else?

If the car won't shut down with the switch off you should change the diode wire.

As far as the car not shutting off, my first place to look would be the diode wires on the coils. As far as the not starting problem, if it's after it's been sitting all week, I would think it sounds more like a carb issue. That maybe the needle is sticking open and allowing too much fuel to be pumped in. These are just guesses, I'm just trying to help by giving you places to look. Hope this helps, Rick

My car did that and we just checked the connection on the starter. The wire was dirty and that fixed the problem.
