What is a good mixture setting for the 2 barrel carb? Do you use the same setting all year round or do you change it with the weather? when we ran karts we always had to screw around with mixture. I have had my carb at 2 1/2 turns all year and last week when it got cooler out the motor cut out until the motor reached full temp. Thanks for the help!!

You'll get all kind of different answers to this one. We never changed ours but I know others who are always changing it like you said

The mixture screws on the top of the carb adjust the mixture at idle only. From about 1/4 throttle up there is little or no effect as the main jets take over.
Most run them between 2 1/4 and 3t out. The only way to really see if there is any measurable difference is on a dyno (hint hint).

haha thanks for the advice. We were thinking about putting some money into getting our engines dynoed this year since we had two that were duds from when they were rebuilt
