Having a problem with one of our cars. Ran hot laps saturday night and the car ran fine. Went out for the heat and the car stalled on the grid. Found a blown diode wire. Replaced the wire and it went again. Replaced the voltage regulator and put a ground from the engine to the frame and the diode still blows. Has anyone ever ran across this problem? Running out of ideas as to what it could be.
