If I race 2 bilsteins and 2 afcos the rest of the season where should I put the bilsteins? Which corners?

Sorry, just trying to be funny, more people are starting to get them to work on all corners.

I've seen two AFCO's on the front with two Bilsteins on the rear work very well. Paul Lotier from Slinger Warehouse has that set up on his rental car I believe. Maybe you could give him a call and he'll help you out. Hope this helps, Rick Conrad

Read my comments in the post before this one titled Slinger Oil Question. Easier to put Bilsteins on front if you don't have access to a welder.

Why do you need a welder to put Bilstiens on the rear.

I don't know anyone who races that doesn't have a welder lol. If you don't have one go to a buddies place or a weld shop and have those fancy lug nuts welded on to your swingarm.

A welder is on my list of must have tools. Until then I have a local guy who welds for me for a reasonable charge. The bilsteins are about 1 1/2" taller than the AFCO and raises the frame higher than you want. You need a nut or bolt welded on the swingarm shock mount below the current mount unless you have a 2011 frame and swing arm which are set-up to mount the Bilsteins.

If you don't want to weld anything on the swingarm you can use the front mounts on the rear

We have a 2003 frame and a 2011 swingarm and the Bilsteins bolted up just fine.
