This is bullsh!t! These guys need to get their act together and stop mandating parts and not being able to supply them. If you want to race it I would just go race it. On top of it all the Bilsteins (although a superior product) are totally wrong for these cars. I'd like to know what kind of R&D SE did with Bilstein because they're out of their minds if they think these shocks are good for our slingshot's. It's a shame because I am a big fan of Bilstein shocks but these are just not good.

Did you call Richie at SE, I said something to him on Sunday about the shocks and he told me he has them to call him.

Did you call Richie at SE, I said something to him on Sunday about the shocks and he told me he has them to call him. He (Rich) was called last week, S&S was called last week, Slinger Warehouse was e-mailed "delivery expected August 10" and Knappy was also called. No Joy. These are for a buddy of mine for a second car he put together, not for me. But it is a little ridiculous to mandate parts and not keep them in stock.

I would contact the track. see if you can get seat time until the shocks come in. I would think they will let you unless it is a tour race. Never hurts to ask
