I'm new to slingshots and was looking for any tips or tricks to set the toe. Or some of the ways guys use. When I ran karts we used a set of toe plates and a four foot level. Thanks for any help. Ryan

There aren't too many cars that are harder to accurately measure toe than a slingshot. I usually just eyeball it when its on the ground. You want a very slight amount of toe out. Like 1/8" The only way to really measure it is to have the body panels off from the sides so you can reach each side of the tire.

I use a rod long enough to hit middle of tire, with about 18" ends on it with sharp points, the ends need to be long enough to to go over body, then put one end in groove of tire at front and make mark on tire with other end, then go to rear of tire and do same rear should hit 1/8" wider which is 1/8 toe out.

i bought 2 plastic meat cutting boards from walmart, just like toe plates, i put them right against the rims and measure both ends right below the body. the cut boards are the same size as the front tires and work great when your in a hurry at the track after bending a tie rod.
