Great job, everyone. Especially Chris Grbac on his 8th place finish. We knew you could do it. Hopefully this will be a spring board for the "10" season.
Thanks, J

Congrats 66 Race team
Its unfortunate the Slingshots probably have 1 less venue to plan for due to the carnage that seems to plague them in AC. Multiple idiotic moves year in and year out make - not 1 but ALL drivers look inexperienced during this race.
Its ashame this division gets no recognition, mostly because of such actions on the track.
There is a big difference between DIRT and INDOOR concrete racing, PATIENCE, FINESSE, and COORDINATION are the key to be successful.
By the looks of the video from this past weeks race, there wasn't any of the above. Less than 1/2 the cars finished and thousands of dollars of damage made us look good in front of Tony Stewart, Johnny Benson and others, let alone talent scouts that may have been present. Keep this in mind the next time you are on ANY track. Corporate sponsors, existing car owners, new car owners or anyone looking for a driver, they all would like to see a winner, but mostly they look for someone who can handle pressure without causing wrecks and damage to their investment.
AC is an awesome place to race, and spend time with friends for a few days. It shouldn't be so stressful and cost friendships and alot of money because of bonehead moves, MOST caused by "experienced" drivers.
Think! You never know who is watching.
1 other thing CONGRATS to former slingshot driver RYAN SMITH on your excellent drive FRI and SAT. (a prime example of finesse, patience, and coordination, talent!)
Thanks Bill Weaver and Robin for giving me the opportunity to run their car and "Boober" and Cody for prep work before hand.
Thanks also to Dennis Bettler for taking the car to and from the track. AND FEEDING THE HORSE -"DAVE"

I don't think i'll ever understand coke syrup surfaces. I think few would be opposed to having an indoor race at a place like this where some dirt/clay was hauled in and kept moist throughout the night.
Or have Randy teach these guys how to make it nice and slick so you really can slide and race side by side.
That being said i enjoyed most of the weekend. Thanks to John Larsen for letting us drive his 7L through the gates of hell and into the fire.

What is a gear size infraction? I thought you could run any gear you wanted.

From SE Rule book 4. Gear range will specified by individual track sizes.68 Sprocket maximum.
Not sure on the details but i would have to say given the size of the track... it was bigger than a 68t.
We were teched after our heat race and passed. From the looks of Housworth's 31 car after the feature Saturday the tech was pretty intensive.
